Argentina is a very large country with a varied landscape. The biggest clues for Argentina are the black Google car and the two license plate styles which are unique to Argentina - the black dot and the blue stripe. The country is very dry in large areas of the north and the west, near the Chilean border.
Plates
Argentina has two very useful plate types to remember: one with what looks like a blurry black dot in the centre, and another which has a blue top half. These can be very useful clues when trying to distinguish between Argentina and Uruguay.
Road markings
Road markings in Argentina can vary quite a lot. Sometimes they look like normal Americas-style markings with double yellow centre lines, sometimes more EU-like with solid white outer lines and dashed white centre lines. The useful combination you might see is the solid yellow and dashed white center line combination, although this is also seen in Uruguay.
