The Isle of Man feels a lot like the mainland United Kingdom, with similar road signs and road markings, but it only has gen 2 coverage, and license plates have a red strip on the left which is not there in the rest of the UK. It's a good idea to learn the locations of the largest towns in the Isle of Man (Douglas, Ramsay, Peel, and Castetown) to make pinpointing easier.
Plates
Similarly to the rest of the United Kingdom, the Isle of Man uses yellow rear plates and white front plates, but in the Isle of Man there's a visible red strip on the left of the plate.
