General tips
Finland is a fairly flat and very cold country. The easiest way to tell it apart from the rest of Scandinavia is by its road markings, which are different from Norway's, Sweden's, and Denmark's in that the outer white lines are almost always contiguous and not dashed. Like Estonian, Finnish has a lot of double letters, but be aware that Swedish language is often used in conjunction with Finnish on road signs.Plates
