General tips
Khmer script can look very similar to Thai to the untrained eye, but it has more elaborate diacritics above the letters - more curvy lines. Cambodian also typically has less characters per sign than Thai, and the characters themselves lack the signature Thai circles. Cambodia also drives on the right whereas Thailand drives on the left.Plates

Road markings

Road signs
Road signs are often held up by white-and-red striped poles.

Bollards
Bollards are short red and white stones

Poles
Cambodia has a special pole - half of it has laddered indents, and the other half is solid with small holes poked into it.

Scenery
Cambodia has a richly biodiverse landscape. Humid rainforests seem to exist adjacent to dry deserts across the entire country. Perhaps the only constant is the red hue the soil has throughout the country.

Car metas
Several cars were used to map the country and none were particularly unique.

Miscellaneous
Cambodia is home to Angor Wat, a structure of historical and cultural significance to the country, which also has trekker coverage. This can be easy to confuse with Indian religious structures that also have trekker coverage, but the archictecture is very distinctive. Cambodia also houses several Angor Wat beer advertisements, along with multiple Cambodian People's Party signs.
